My 23 month old has Cerebral Palsy and Autism. There is one thing he is infatuated with and that is his "vroom vrooms" I wanted to give him a room that he could really enjoy and the bright colors will also help with his sensory issues.
Our walls were already painted a light blue, so a few of the ready made paints (lt. gray) came out looking a different color so we we mixed the paint ourself. Instead of blue mountains, I wanted green so we used a green tint. I also wanted the cloud to not look so uniformed so I did white/blue fluffy clouds.
The mural took a total of 8 days from start to finish. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant so I had to do a little here and there. The wall is a total of 10 1/2 feet wide so I expanded the mural to the fit. I am going to paint a sign at the top that says "TEDDY's SPEEDWAY" and " It's not the win that matters, it's the race you run"
Thank you so much for an AWESOME product that will be cherished for many years to come!

I bought the race car mural kit for my son's room because he loves cars and wanted a green bedroom. There was no way was I going to paint a whole room a vibrant green! So I figured one green race car would be green enough. We changed the color scheme of this mural so that the car in the foreground is green and the car in the background is royal blue. It turned out really nice. My biggest problem was painting on our home's heavily textured walls. It can be done, but you need a ruler and a lot of patience! Overall, I'd definitely recommend this mural painting kit to a friend.
