The medium lavender
walls are painted in a satin latex called "Wisteria"
by paint manufacturer Pratt & Lambert. We then added the Princess
Wall Mural to one wall and moved in a bookshelf, frog rug
and fuzzy pink child sized chair perfect for a cozy reading nook.
(Chair and rug are not available for sale.)

Next, we spruced up the closet by tracing the daisies in our Daisies
& Ladybugs Mini Mural around the trim. In the center of
the doors is painted a frog prince from our Frog
Pond Mini Mural, and we drew in and painted his crown. The
door pulls are white daisies on a purple background from our Garden
Party Decor Set.

This fabulous window treatment is a custom creation.
Four white finials were purchased in the window treatment section
of Home Depot to hang the valance and pink sheer fabric.
The valance is 13" wide striped fabric backed with lime
green which extends an additional 2" to form the hem. The
valance has 2" wide lime green loops sewn on the front,
and 12" x 2" rectangles of the striped fabric pulled
through the loops and tied in bows on to the finials to create
the draped look. Pink sheer fabric long enough to drape on the
floor was sewn to the back of the valance before hanging directly
on the opposite side of the valance from each front hanging
loop.

The crowning touch of the princess room is the white
daybed with custom quilt and crown canopy.
The star patterned quilt was designed by Barb Cross; you can purchase
one of Barb's quilts by contacting her through our customer service
email. Twin quilts start at $250 with all materials included and
are finished in approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
The crown canopy is a custom creation. (Not
available for sale.) It was made from cardboard shapes
mounted to a lightweight wood frame and covered with several
layers of paper maiche. Once the paper maiche was dry, it was
sprayed with several coats of gold paint. Tulle is draped over
the edges and secured by wrapping around a wooden support beam
that runs front to back through the middle of the crown.
