Paints
WallNutz
mural kits are sold without paints included. Many customers
choose colors to match existing decorations in the child's room.
A suggested color guide is included in each kit for those who
prefer to go with our color recommendations. Take the color
guide with you to the craft store to match the paints.
All
craft stores carry acrylic craft paints that are used for the
designs. Michaels, Hobby Lobby, AC Moore and Ben Franklin
are some craft stores that are probably in your area.
WalMart also carries a selection of these paints in the craft
section.
We recommend using a semi-gloss indoor latex paint for the background,
and this paint can be found at paint and wallpaper or
home improvement stores. Note:
We do NOT recommend using Behr
brand paint, often sold through Home Depot. There have been
occasional reports from customers that the transfer paper does
not work well with Behr paint as a background. If your pattern
is not transferring well, try lightly sanding the wall with
a fine grade sandpaper and retracing.
